I spent today drinking coffee, eating cake and trying on beautiful things I can't afford.
The ultimate dream wish list:
I have pined over these for so long and I finally tried them on today. One size too big however! It was no surprise when the sales assistant informed me that they had sold out in Selfridges, Harrods and Liberty's.
Céline cuff, love the bow cuff too.
Prada's S/S 11 handbag collection is beautiful. This one in particular.
Max Mara's bright yellow jersey shorts.
The slightly-more-realistic Wish List:
Reiss maxi skirt in turquoise and burnt orange!
Reiss navy blue lace dress.
(The only picture I managed to get of me trying on beautiful clothes and shoes before my phone died - note the above maxi skirt hanging to the right - to be tried on next!)
The bright pink carrie skirt from Whistles, which I've been drooling over since I saw it in an issue of Elle.
The list goes on, but these are the most memorable. xx.
I wish I'd had this Jimmy Choo suitcase to travel with...
but I did just fine without!
I had an amazing time and am now set on living in Berlin for at least 2 years after London. Highlights included;
Using my new Mulberry bag to travel, maple pecan pastries and caffe creme for breakfast - every day!, many, many sights, museums and Art galleries, cocktails at a small 1920's Art bar, Häagen-Dazs ice cream at 9pm after crispy italian pizza at a small New York style pizza shop, and finally - being ridiculously cutesy and sweet with my non-boyfriend. (Only allowed because we were in a city where nobody knew us!)
One cocktail too many?
Having to squash my Mulberry handbag into my suitcase (as we were traveling with only hand luggage), laddering my tights, having to leave!
All in all, it was easily the best Christmas present I've ever recieved!
Next month (when I have some money) I'm planning on buying a kimono jacket. I think I want one in a dark colour, black, navy or royal blue, I think, with dark embroidery. I can't seem to find one anywhere at the minute though. I want it in a stiff material so it has a structured feel.
This Alexander McQueen kimono is beautiful - and it'd have to be for £6000!
I think I'll look into making one of my own if I can't find one that's not £6000!
